Well, the holidays are upon us. Fun, I know. With the holidays come the joyous task of gift giving, and the infuriating task of figuring out what to get someone, then acquiring it. It is enough to drive a man insane, I tell ya!

If you are banking on what to get the combat sports athlete and/or aficionado in your life, we have done you a solid and prepared a dandy little cheat-sheet!

FightHubTV Presents: The 2011 Holiday Gift Guide

Haburi™ Compression Series (Pants/Shorts): $49.99/69.99

If Rory MacDonald endorses something, you probably want to look into it. The UFC welterweight blitzkrieg has been seen sporting these bad boys before and with good cause: “Thermawick fabric enhances muscle performance and makes these the most comfortable compression products in this category. The integrated Guardlock waistband and cuffs are excellent features to prevent shifting.” I can’t really break that down technically, but it’s clear these are perfect for grappling aspect of combat sports. The shorts weigh in at $49.99, the pants $69.99. Both the shorts and the pants come with an integrated pocket designed for…

Hayabusa – ExoForged™ Armored Cup: $24.99
Any male athlete should wear a cup. If said athlete competes in a sport that encourages he and his competition hurling limbs at one another, they’d be frightfully insane to think differently. I do not envy the testers of this product, as it seems they went through many, many trials to find the optimum level of protection and comfort. Long days those men must of had. Double up one of these with the compression series shorts and you’re ready to hit the town! The armored protection devices come in red/black or grey/black and run $24.99. Mark Hunt is fighting Cheick Kongo next, right? Yeah, someone buy one of these for Mark.

HeadBlade S4 Eclipse
: $99
We normal mortals may never be able to scientifically calculate a way to achieve the level of bald-perfection that Michael Clarke Duncan currently lives on, but this product will get you pretty close. HeadBlade’s latest, and most advanced, edition of the S4 Eclipse promotes bringing a “luxury feel to an everyday shave.” The price of $99 may seem a bit steep, but the dude that truly values proper grooming would be stoked beyond belief to receive one of these.

TrauMMA Combat Clothing:
To be honest, it’s just refreshing to see MMA clothing that isn’t covered in skulls and flames. TrauMMA offers up shirts that show support for the sport without a menacing appearance. Thirty bucks will help knock off a gift and help support a rising company. Luke Rockhold and Daniel Comier wear TrauMMA, and they’re not doing to shabby.

No Mas Clothing: $40
For the historian, or nostalgia lover of the bunch No Mas brings a tremendous line of legend-oriented shirts. First up, we have a Muhammad Ali Deer Park, PA Training Camp T-shirt. This shirt is modeled after the one Ali and his trainers wore during the tenure of the storied Deer Lake training. This is honestly a fitting gift for ANY sports fan. $40.

Also from No Mas is an Alexis Arguello shirt, a replica of one worn during Arguello’s 1982 training camp for his bout against Aaron Pryor (which Ring Magazine named the “Fight of the Decade”). For $34 all other boxing shirts at Buffalo Wild Wings for the next Pacquiao Pay-Per-View will be trumped.

Devil’s Cut by Jim Beam – 90 Proof Bourbon:
It’s VERY hard to go wrong with the gift of booze. Unless, of course, your recipient is someone 24 years sober. Then it’s just awkward for everyone. The always trusty Jim Bean is serving up a new addition to the line with Devil’s Cut, Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Clocking in a 90 proof, and the modest price of $25, a bottle of this juice will ensure a holiday party difficult to remember.

Ultimate Collector Series 8: $14.99 (not pictured)
A perfect stocking stuffer for your little miss or dude, The Round 5 figures add some more flavor this year. Brock Lesnar, Georges St-Pierre, a screaming Jon Jones, Roy Nelson and Jose Aldo are all immortalized in this series 8 collection.

There you have it! Hope this helps those of you out there who are rummaging for ideas.
