Actor and comedian Rob Schneider was on hand yesterday at Nonito Donaire’s media day to give support to the “Filipino Flash” ahead of his unification bout on Saturday at The Home Depot Center. Donaire will go head to head with Japan’s Toshiaki Nishioka as Schneider is a big admirer of the young Filipino champion, ” My buddy Nino Pilla told me about Nonito and he showed me a few of his fights and he looks great. He has a lot of skills, he is really fast… Filipino fighters, they can hit you from all angles and that is what is exciting about it.”
