Manny Pacquiao To KO Fans After His Clottey Affair?

Oh man. He’s at it again. When Manny Pacquiao is not taking names and cashing checks with his fists in the ring he’s singing his little heart off to the enjoyment of his army of Filipino fans that follow him to every fight. We have all seen clips of the Pac man singing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. If not well I have them posted on here (warning not for the feint of heart)

It was well publicized that Pacquaio was so confident that he was going to beat Cotto in November that he booked a concert hall for a after party that would see him serenade fans. It appears he is just as confident now as ESPN.com reported that yet another hall has been booked for “A Night Under The Stars: The Hymns of the Pac-Man.” Yea, I made the name up, but here is the link.

For a man who travels with a entourage of about 100 people, I have no freaking clue as to why no one has told him he has one of thee worst singing voices ever! I’m not even getting into the fact that his accent makes his singing all the much worse! Whats next a duet with him and William Hung? Actually i’d pay to see that so let me take that back. People eat it up though, why? No clue! If he were to go on American Idol, he’d get thrown out to the wolves and eaten up. Maybe fans go for the humor in it? I think I would go see him sing. Put 5 drinks in me, and yea I’ll go, because I probably wont remember anything and I would never forgive myself in a non-inebriated state that I paid to go see Manny Pacquiao sing. You’d have to get me hammy status. People pay though. Is this normal? I dunno. Is it normal to go see a donkey show in Mexico? Is it normal to see videos of be headings? Is it normal to see two girls one cup?

Inherently we are curious creatures, and the curiosity that the best pound for pound boxer in the world is going to stage a night full of singing after his fight with Clottey is something that stirs curiosity in people. Manny, please don’t try to erect a singing career after your boxing career is finished! Save those lighting quick left hands for your opponents in the ring and not on our ear drums!
